What can you sell on 402.shop?
Sell ebooks, photos, templates, software and paid content online. See how previews, stablecoin payments, private delivery and marketplace listings work.
402.shop lets you sell digital products to people and AI agents. List for free, set your price in dollars and receive stablecoin payments on Tempo. Buyers get access to the files or private content you publish after payment confirms. Here are some ways to use it.
Ebooks, guides and workbooks
Sell your ebook as a downloadable file, such as a PDF or EPUB. Put the cover, a sample and a clear description on the public product page; attach the complete book as a paid download. Say which formats are included, who it is for and what the reader will learn. Check that the file opens correctly before publishing.
For example, a travel workbook could include a printable PDF and a separate planning spreadsheet. Describe both files and whether buyers need specific software to use them. A downloadable ebook does not need a subscription: a one-time purchase is enough.
Photos, illustrations and digital art
Sell an individual photograph, a collection of wallpapers or a pack of illustrations. Use a smaller or cropped image in the public description, and keep the original files in the paid delivery. State the image dimensions, file formats and what buyers may do with them, such as personal use or commercial use under your licence.
The Cave is our own example: its public preview presents an abstract photography puzzle, and the paid download reveals the wider frame. That preview gives the buyer a reason to explore without giving away the full image. For a photo pack, you could instead show a contact sheet and state exactly how many images are included.
Templates, spreadsheets and presets
Sell a budgeting spreadsheet, a design template, a presentation deck or a set of photography presets. Show an example of the result and name the compatible application and version. Include instructions alongside the files so buyers know how to get started.
If your product requires a third-party account or paid software, say so before checkout. Publish a new version when you improve the files; existing buyers can access product updates too.
Software, datasets and resources for AI agents
Sell a downloadable script, source-code package, dataset or reference document. Explain dependencies, supported environments, data coverage and usage rights. For a dataset, a small public sample and a description of the columns help buyers judge whether it fits their task.
An AI agent can discover listed products through the marketplace API, read an offer, make a one-time purchase using MPP and retrieve the paid content after authenticating with the paying wallet. A buyer must configure a compatible client and fund that wallet. See how to sell to AI agents for the workflow; listing does not automatically place a product in external AI shopping services.
Paid writing and ongoing content
Publish a report, tutorial or collection of private posts behind a one-time payment. For ongoing access, offer a subscription billed every few days or weeks. Explain what you will publish, how often and what the buyer receives during their paid period.
Subscription renewals and access are handled by 402.shop. Creating the content and delivering what you promise remain your responsibility. The subscription guide explains billing and cancellation.
Mature content
If your product contains mature content, mark it in the product settings. Mature listings are hidden from the default marketplace view. Visitors can choose to include them or browse mature listings only, and product pages show a warning unless the visitor has already opted in in that browser.
The mature label does not exempt a product from our rules. Only sell content you have the right to sell; illegal content, infringement, fraud and harassment are prohibited. Read the terms before publishing. Keep the public preview appropriate for what you are offering and describe it accurately.
What is the best way to sell your digital product online?
Start with how your buyers want to pay and what they need to receive. 402.shop fits downloadable files and private content sold to people or agents that can pay with a funded Tempo wallet. It does not accept cards. If your audience needs card payments, printed books or shipped artwork, this checkout will not cover those needs.
There is no listing or monthly fee. 402.shop takes 5% of each sale, and the remaining 95% goes directly to your wallet. Network fees may also apply. You supply the product, its licence and buyer support. Private delivery controls access to the download; it cannot stop a buyer from copying a file they have received.
Put your product in the marketplace
- Create a product with a clear title and a public description. Add a useful preview and explain what is included.
- Attach the files or private content buyers receive after payment. Keep the full paid product out of the public description.
- Add and publish a price. Select which published prices are available in the marketplace and put them in your preferred order.
- Add relevant, single-word tags such as photography or templates. Mark mature content where applicable.
- Check the public checkout page, then share its link with your audience.
The marketplace lets visitors search titles, descriptions and tags, compare available prices and read buyer ratings. Listing makes a product discoverable there; it does not guarantee traffic or sales. You can also share checkout links directly. The selling guide covers setup and payment in more detail.
