Crypto payment links that deliver the product
A stablecoin payment link for digital products: one link lets buyers pay in USD stablecoins and access their purchase.
A payment link is a URL that takes a payment: no website, no checkout code, nothing to host. Most crypto payment links leave product delivery up to you. A 402.shop link does both: the page that takes the payment is the page that delivers.
What is behind the link
Each price you publish gets a hosted checkout page at its own address. It shows the product's title, your description, the price in dollars and reviews from previous buyers. The buyer pays from a Tempo wallet in a USD stablecoin, and the same page then shows what they bought: your message, your files, your private content.
Creating one
- Sign in with a Tempo wallet.
- Create a product and describe what buyers will receive.
- Add a price, one-time or recurring, and publish it.
- Copy the link from Share product.
A price's name and amount are fixed once it has been published, so shared links keep the original price. To change the amount, add a new price and pause the old one.
Payment link or payment gateway?
A gateway is code you add to your own checkout. A payment link requires no code and works well in newsletters, chats and social posts. If you have your own checkout, add your order ID to the link with ?order=<your id>, then confirm payment through the API. See selling from your own app.
AI agents can buy too
A checkout link is a page for people. The price behind it also has an API endpoint, POST /api/prices/{priceId}/purchase, where AI agents can make one-time purchases using HTTP 402 and the Machine Payments Protocol. The guide to selling to AI agents has the details.
Fees and settlement
5% per sale. The payment settles on Tempo in seconds, and you receive 95% directly in your wallet in the same transaction.
